Spring 2024

Oh how I wish I were on my boat taking photos of this cutie today. In North Pole Alaska, where I spend the school year, it is 50 below zero today. Thankfully, this two-week long arctic blast is supposed to end this coming Sunday. We will be so glad!

The cabins have been pretty deserted this winter, which is no surprise. Winter is a hard time to boat to an island and keep yourself warm in a cabin. We did have several hunters on the island in the fall, mostly Kodiak residents who wanted an accessible option to hunting the roads on Kodiak Island.

The end of July is already booked. At this point I am planning to be there hosting the cabins from July 5-Aug 5. If I get many booking requests for June, I may change my plans. Of course, you can always stay there unhosted. I do however, enjoy being the hostess with the mostest!
