Oh what a fantastic trip this was! I was so excited that I kept yelling “Shoot ’em!” to my fishing partner. I thought it was a whale of a fish! This is one of the perks of hosting Whale Island in the summer. I get to go fishing whenever I like. And I like!
The cabins are open year-round, but are only hosted for one month each summer. I will be out there after the Fourth of July, 2024, through the end of that month. I love providing breakfast and conversation when it is welcome, and privacy when it is not.
I can refer you to some awesome fishing guides who will pick you up on the island (I cannot take you out), and you can fish out of the cove in front of the island in waders or from a kayak.
